My Prayer for Today

Here’s hoping the world

will leave me alone

OBJECTIVE

Develop a three page booklet where each spread acts as a visualization of a single line from the poem. The front cover introduces the themes within the poem while the back cover displays the entirety of the haiku.

As the lines in the poem progress, the compositions become less crowded. Experimented with the use of color to indicate a circle as a subject in later studies.
