The Japanese House
Design imagery for a screen printed t-shirt that promotes the artist’s latest single. Incorporate themes from the cover art, lyrics, and overall sound of the song.
Experimented with different orientations of the content on the t-shirt while developing thumbnails for
Taking inspiration from the previous thumbnail sketches, I developed 3D scenes and simulations within Blender to generate different images.
Because this design will ultimately be screen printed, I optimized the design by creating a bitmap. I then experimented with text over the image and a smaller design that will be printed on the opposite side of the t-shirt.
I primarily used Optima Regular and Bold for the typography as it has been featured on multiple of their albums and is currently used on their official website.
